- I If you are to scale things you need structure and you need to make that structure as efficient as possible.
- I Within my governance model I have things that I cannot control. They are processes that are dictated as we are part of a group such as the Main Board and the Executive Management Team but the rest I can define.
- I I try to deal with my process by having two main days – one is the business review day (later you see why I have them) and the second is the divisional day.
- I My approach is to deal with all the administration and governance in one day – so lots of short sharp focused meetings to align people or to highlight where we need to align.
- I I also use these to get the group team to communicate any actions for information they may need.
- I I do it this way so I only disturb my team for 1 day a month on main governance and this gives them the time they need to do their job.
